Hello Blue Fins,

It is high time we started talking about the upcoming Blue Fins Swim Team season rather than the snow and cold. The Parent Reps are looking towards another great season and continue this wonderful tradition in the Forest Park neighborhood.

There are number of key things for this coming year so please hang there with us:

KEY positions will be vacated after this season. Thus we will need families/individuals to step up to shadow this year so the transition can be smooth.

• Parent Reps: Bob will be stepping down after several years in this position. We will be looking for one or two individuals to step up to assist Shanna in the future. This position is typically a 2 or more year commitment. .
• Meet Managers: Maura and Marilyn will be stepping down after 3 seasons. This position is typically a 2 year commitment.

If you are interested in either of these positions please contact Bob as this will fulfill your volunteer obligations by shadowing.

Coach Staff changes:

• Helping out Head Coach Matt will be promoted Co-Head Coach Faith.
• New Assistant Coaches this year are Assistant Coaches Meredith, Mackenzie and Megan
• Our Volunteer Junior Coaches returns Jr Coach Gracie and Danika. New to the Junior Coaching Staff will be Riley and Morgan Barrett as well as Ray Fix.

Registration: Will start on April 1^st at 6:00pm (Returning swimmers and Forest Park Residents only)

• Fees for this year:
  • Resident: $160 for the first swimmer $150 for additional swimmers
  • Non-Resident: $190 for the first swimmer and $180 for additional swimmers
  • Concession Fees: $10 per family
• Pool passes (limit 10): $580 – this will give the family the resident rate and access to the pool Forest Park neighborhood activities, July 4^th and Oktoberfest and others as scheduled. Last year we did a puppy paddle.

  • June 1st - Forest Park hosts Ben Franklin
  • June 8th - Forest Park at Heritage Village
  • June 15th- Forest Park at South Park
  • June 22nd - Forest Park hosts Cherry Knolls and Homestead Farm (Tri Meet)
  • June 29th - Forest Park at Willow Creek II
  • Week of July 8^th - Prelims all age groups (change for 2019 13-18 will be on Monday and 8 and under on Tuesday).
  • July 13^{th -} League Finals and Team Banquet

Team Suit: The team suit will remain the same as last year. Fitting day information coming soon for suits and new merchandise options.
