REGISTRATION BEGINS  TOMORROW (April 1st, at 6:00pm) - No, I am not joking.  Get it?

One of my favorite times of the year, is when registration starts it means summer is closer.   REMEMBER this is for returning swimmers and Forest Park Residents first. 

DEADLINE is Tuesday April 9th at 8:00pm.  At that time I will review our openings  and open up to wait listed families if there space.

Couple of points of interest:

• NEW YARD SIGN FOR SALE when you register.
• New this year as part of the Stroke/Judge position is a Scribe at home meets.  This position will be noting all DQ's from the Judges as they are identified.  This is a pretty cool position and also you get a great visual spot at the poolside.

Reminder information on Stroke/Turn information:

CALLING ALL STROKE JUDGES/: Once again this is a must have need every year and critical for the success of the season. Any new Stroke Judge is required to go to the Beginner Stroke Clinic offered at one of the times below. Returning Stroke Judges are just required to do the online videos.

BEGINNER STROKE JUDGE CLINICS:

• Tuesday, April 30: 7:00pm to 8:00pm
• Wednesday, May 8: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

STARTER REF CLINICS:

• Tuesday, May 14: 7:00pm to 8:00pm
• Thursday, May 23: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

CATCH-ALL CLINIC FOR BEGINNER STROKE JUDGES AND STARTER REFS:

• Saturday, May 18: 3:00pm-4:30pm

Requirements:

• All new stroke judges have to attend EITHER a beginner stroke judge clinic OR the catch-all.
• All starter refers (new and old) have to attend EITHER a starter ref clinic OR the catch-all.
• All experienced stroke judges are not required to attend anything but can attend a beginner stroke judge clinic or the catch-all as a refresher.
• All Clinics will be held at Koelbel Library in the Forum Theater (5955 S. Holly Street)
• Anyone just interested in learning more about either position is welcome to attend any clinic. Please reach out to Janet Sedivy (Lead Stroke Judge) for more info. Contact Janet Here
