Action Items & Updates!

Hello Blue Fins,
What a fantastic start to our season this week! it’s been so fun seeing everyone at the pool.
Below are action items and updates, as we head into next week:
Meet Signups: Due Wednesday @ Noon
- Mock Meet is Friday, May 31, 8:30am-11:00am
- This is a limited schedule - Each swimmer can sign up for 2 individual events. IM Relays are available for ages 7-8 and 9-10, and will occur at the end.
- Meet Declaration (signup) by Wednesday May 29 at NOON: https://forestparkbluefins.swimtopia.com/swim_meets/600423/swim_meet_entries
- First Swim Meet is Saturday, June 1!
- Each swimmer can sign up for 3 individual events, and indicate availability for relays (either early or late, or both). Relay entry is not guaranteed, and depends on how many swimmers we have.
- If you have questions about appropriate events for your swimmer, contact the coaches in the Remind app.

Team Potluck & Meet Set-Up
Friday, May 31, 6:30pm @ Arapaho Park

- Blue Fins will provide plates, utensils, napkins. Bring your own beverages (no alcohol allowed per league rules).
- Location: Arapaho Park (just up the hill, east of the pool). BYO folding chairs or picnic blankets. The coaches will also lead some fun games in the park for the swimmers.
- Meet Set-Up: At 8:00 we can begin setting up for the meet, and you can grab a spot for your tent.
- Set-Up Volunteers: We’ll gauge the weather and crowd at the pool - we may be able to start a bit early if the pool is not in use.
Suit/Gear Pickup
- If you have gear to pick up, I am usually around for 6&Under and 7-8 practices. If you’d like to do a porch pickup, please text me (Sarah, 303-902-3150). I live about a block from the pool. I’ll also bring everything to next week’s Mock Meet and Potluck on May 31.
- FYI - Our orders came in two shipments: the first shipment (orders by April 21), and the second shipment (orders by May 7). We only have the first shipment so far, so stay tuned for when we get the second shipment in.
RMSL Championship T-Shirts
- Below is a link to pre-order RMSL championship t-shirts, if you’d like. The online store closes June 26, but Out of Breath Sports will also be at prelims and finals selling shirts and heat pressing 1 line of words.
