**Sigh** It's (hopefully) my last email out to you, Blue Fins! (For now, anyway!)

It has been an extraordinary experience and delight this season! I’m already looking forward to next year’s fun... hope you are too! THANK YOU parents for your involvement and energy in making this season an amazing one!

Thank you Kristie!!! I first want to give a shout out again to Kristie Hentzen, who took over as lead (and only!) parent rep in 2022 and is now officially stepped down for some much deserved R&R. Thank you for everything, Kristie!

Join the Parent Rep Team!

I know you want to skip over this section, but hear me out!

I’d love to develop a Parent Rep team, (ideally 2-3 parents to join me) with a rotating group of enthusiastic parents. This will lighten the load on any one parent rep and make transition easier when a lead parent rep steps down.

As an example, potential roles/responsibilities that could be spread amongst co-parent reps could include:

Fundraising/Sponsorships
Gear/Suit decisions and coordination
Occasional RMSL meeting attendance (Sept-April)
Guppy Program Lead
Home Meet Day Operations
Attend 1 Prelim (as parent rep)

If any of these roles interest you, please let me know!! There are perks to being a parent rep, and I’m more than happy to chat individually and answer any questions you might have.

I’d like to have an idea of potentially interested parents by the end of July, so let me know soon if you are interested!

Ribbons, Awards, and Photo Pickup

Many of you have ribbons, awards, and photos that need to be picked up (photos are arriving tomorrow and will be in the same box with other awards).

These will be in a box on my porch, for pickup anytime after tomorrow:

Jr. Coach Application

Slide Show!!

It’s here! I’m sad we didn’t get to watch it together on Saturday at the banquet, but I’m excited to share it with you now. In full disclosure, this was somewhat last minute so I know there are amazing photos out there that didn’t make it in. However, this has given me a lot of ideas for collecting photos from all families throughout the entire season next summer.
