Blue Fins Info for our First Meet (5/31 @ Hunters Hill)
It's time for our first swim meet! Here are essential pieces of information, and some updates to know as we head into this weekend.
Don't forget we have our Mock Meet on Friday 5/30 at 8:00-10:30am. Great way to get some "meet practice" in before the real thing!

Here is the welcome letter from Hunters Hill, our host this Saturday! Please read carefully for information about parking, tent setup, concessions, Timer and Stroke Judge meetings, etc.
The Hunters Hill Hawks welcome Forest Park Blue Fins to our dual meet this Saturday, 5.31.2025!

Parking: Extremely limited space in the parking lot. We will reserve one space for a parent rep vehicle, and one space for a coach’s vehicle. If using any streets for parking, please be mindful of residential driveway access and PLEASE watch for kids crossing the street!
Tents: You can set up your tents on the southwest lawn in the pool enclosure (side closest to the parking lot). Heating will take place on the south lawn. We will provide trash bags and just ask you to please remind your swimmers to pick up after the meet.
Concessions: We will have plenty of breakfast and lunch fare, including burritos, burgers and hotdog meals, slushies, sweets, treats and beverages. Please let your families know that the concession stand is both Cash pay and Venmo.
Schedule:
*We will also have a minnows race after event #45- coaches are allowed to swim a 25 with swimmers who require support- all kids welcome!!*

New False Start Rule: This year, the RMSL is following a "no false start" rule, where false starts will not be recalled back to the block. All swimmers will start as usual with the "beep", and any false starts which occurred may keep swimming, but will be DQ'd. Please make sure your swimmers know this!

If you haven’t picked yours up already, I’ll have them out at the Mock Meet on Friday morning, and also at the meet on Saturday at Hunters Hill (don’t worry- I know what size you ordered! ;)
