Mock Meet Reminder! (Friday 5/30)
Hello Blue Fins! Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning, bright and early for our Mock Meet!
If you are planning to attend and can step in for a volunteer job (even for a short time), your help is appreciated! We will specifically need Timers, Heaters, and Stroke Judges.
Here is our schedule for the morning, and you should also be able to see your swimmer’s events listed in the Swimtopia app.
- 7:20-7:40 - Warm Ups! Join us for warm-ups and to learn the Blue Fins team cheer.
- 7:45 - Calling all Timers and Stroke Judges! Meet us at the green awning (the Starter Tent) to get a brief rundown and test out the technology.
- 7:50 - Heating begins! The heating area is behind the diving blocks. Anyone who can help with heating, please join in!
- 8:00 - First race begins! (This is our goal… we may have a few kinks to work through, so thank you for your patience if we become slightly delayed!)
- 10:30 - Meet ends
Bring warm towels/blankets, snacks, water, extra goggles, etc. This is a very scaled-down meet, so we will not have concessions.
