Good evening, Blue Fins!
First- congrats on a WIN at our first meet of the season! Great job everyone, and a special shout out to those of you who swam in your very first meet… way to go!!
Now on to this week’s action items and updates…
Meet Entries for this Saturday - Due Wednesday @ Noon!
In order to participate in swim meets, you must declare meet entries for your swimmer(s). In other words, you will sign your swimmer up for individual events. Meet entries are due by Wednesday at Noon!
- Swim meet at Stonegate is June 7 (Meet entries are due Wednesday, June 4!)
- Each swimmer can enter 3 individual events, and indicate availability for relays.
- If your swimmer needs a coach with them during the race, please indicate this in the notes when you make your meet entries.

- If you miss the entry deadline, contact Sarah or a coach immediately by end of Wednesday.
Stroke Clinics
Stroke Clinics begin this week! There are a few spots left. Due to limited space, registration is required. If you are unable to attend, please adjust your Sign-Up as soon as possible to allow others to join.

- COST: $10 per swimmer, per Clinic. CASH ONLY, due to coaches at the time of the Clinic.
- Weather dependent - watch your email and Remind app that afternoon/evening for any cancellations.
Awards Box (Ribbons, awards, etc)
- At each practice, you'll now find the Awards Box out. Each swimmer has a file in the box, and you'll find ribbons or "speeding ticket" awards from previous meets, or other notes there.
- Remember you can also create cards, notes, bookmarks, etc for your Big fish/Little fish and put them in your fish's file in the Awards Box!
First Team Dinner - Friday, June 13 (Place your pizza order!)
The night before each home meet, we do a team dinner (and games with the coaches in the park!) After dinner and games, we’ll set up the pool for the home meet the following morning.
Our first team dinner is a pizza fundraiser!
- Friday, June 13, 6:00-8:00pm (behind the pool, west side of Arapaho Park). Guppy Families are welcome to join!
- Pizza and Soda: Get dinner and raise money for the team! For $20 you can get either a pepperoni or cheese large pizza (10 slices) and 4 sodas. We will accept cash, check, or Venmo when you arrive and pick up your food and drinks. (If paying by check please make it payable to Forest Park Swim Team).
