Hello, Blue Fins! 

What a FUN home meet on Saturday, and we finished strong with a win!! Well-done, everyone! 

We're now in our post-season, with some important reminders and updates... 

Prelim Deadline is TOMORROW! JUNE 30

The deadline to make your Prelim Entries is Monday, JUNE 30 (this is a hard deadline!)

Anyone is welcome to participate, as long as you've swam in 2+ regular meets this season. You can select to participate in up to 3 individual events. If you are available for relays, you may be placed in up to 2 relays (you may also be listed as an alternate for relays). 

Please also sign up for open volunteer spots! It is very important we fill these. As you saw from Becky's email, if volunteers do not sign up we will assign participating families to jobs! (This includes Finals volunteer spots!)

• 13&Up at Stonegate (July 7)
• 8&Under at Homestead (July 8)
• 9-10 at Heritage Greens (July 9)
• 11-12 at Homestead Farm II (July 10)

Practices June 30-July 1

We will have limited practice on June 30 and July 1 for anyone who wants more time in the water! You do not have to be participating in Prelims to attend practice. 

On June 30 and July 1, practices will be at:

• Ages 11-18: 7:30-8:15am
• Ages 6-10: 8:15-9:00am

(NO PRACTICE July 2-4)

Practice Schedule for July 7-10

During the week of Prelims, practices will be held with an altered schedule:

Monday: July 7

• 11-12 - 7:00 to 8:00
• 9-10 - 8:00 to 8:45
• 8 and Under - 8:45 to 9:30

Tuesday: July 8

• 13 and Older - 7:00 to 8:00
• 11 - 12 - 8:00 to 9:00
• 9 - 10 - 9:00 to 9:45

Wednesday: July 9

• 13 and Older - 7:00 to 8:00
• 11 - 12 - 8:00 to 9:00
• 8 and Under - 9:00 to 9:45

Thursday: July 10

• 13 and Older - 7:00 to 8:00
• 9 & 10 - 8:00 to 8:45
• 8 and Under - 8:45 to 9:30

Friday: July 11 NO PRACTICE

Finals are on Saturday, July 12

Placement in Prelims will determine if a swimmer can participate in Finals (July 12, at Cherry Creek Vista). 

• The top 16 swimmers from each event in Prelims will move on to Finals. Places 17 and 18 are alternates.
• We have volunteer spots assigned to Finals too - if you anticipate attending, please sign up for a spot! Finals Volunteer Positions

Team Awards Banquet! July 12, 6-8pm

• Celebrate the end of the Blue Fins season! Join us for awards and recognitions, dinner, LOTS of desserts, and swimming.
• At the Forest Park Pool; bring a dessert to share. 

Ribbons & Awards Pickup
