Good afternoon, Blue Fins!

First- for those of you who still want to register, this is your reminder to signup and spread the word! We are only at 80% of our normal team size, and some age groups don’t have enough swimmers for a full relay team! Spread the word- it’s a great way to get some exercise in this summer and meet new friends (and I don’t need to remind you what a fun team we are!)

Personalized Cap Purchase: Deadline APRIL 27

Each swimmer receives a free Blue Fins cap (if you need one), but personalized caps are available for purchase. Order directly through this link by APRIL 27:

Caps will be picked up by a team rep and available for pick up during practices.

Suit and Gear Purchase Deadline: MAY 13

For Blue Fins swimsuits and merchandise, the deadline to order through our online team store (MI Sports) is May 13! Each swimmer is required to have the Forest Park Swimsuit for meets.

• Families are welcome to stop by the MI Sports location to try on suits for proper fitting: (4025 E Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80222) Note- they are closed Sundays!
• You may also visit other local swim stores in the area to try on suits. Our 2026 team suit style is the TYR Jammer (boys) and TYR Diamondfit 1-piece (girls).

Blue Fins Pool Pitch-In for Clean-Up Day! MAY 16

It’s time to get the pool ready! Let’s be good stewards of the pool and show our appreciation to the Forest Park neighborhood residents, by helping get the pool ship-shape and ready for summer.

Forest Park Pool Clean-Up

• Saturday, May 16, 10:00am-12:00pm
• We have specific Blue Fins jobs that we’ll help out with - sign up for a job here! 2026 Pool Cleanup Signup
• Wear your Blue Fins gear to show off our team spirit. Coffee and donuts will also be provided!

Family Meet & Greet: MAY 19, 6:30pm

• Volunteer expectations and needs

We’d love to see as many families as possible! If you aren’t able to make it, all information will still be shared in updates but it’s a great time to ask questions and learn about the season ahead.

Evening Practices (Limited Space): MAY 26-27

Our Blue Fins teammates in Douglas County Schools won’t be out of school yet when we start morning practices, so we will hold two evening practices on May 26 and May 27. Space will be limited, and sign up is required: May 26-27 Evening Practice Signup

Douglas County swimmers (or those with later school calendars) will receive first priority for these practices, but others may also attend if space allows. The practice schedule is:

May 26 and 27

• 6:00-6:45pm - Age 10 and Under
• 7:00-8:00pm - Age 11-18

We will take any of your Blue Fins suits, shirts, clothes, etc. that are still in “working order”! Our Used Suit & Gear Sale is available for anyone to purchase, and all funds go directly back to the Blue Fins.
