As we get rolling, here are key updates and action items to stay on top of…

Get out those old suits! We need them!

Our used suit/gear inventory needs a refresh! We will take any of your Blue Fins suits, shirts, clothes, etc. that are still in “working order”.

• Our Used Suit & Gear Sale is available for anyone to purchase, and all funds go directly back to the Blue Fins.

New Suit and Gear Purchase Deadline: MAY 13

For new Blue Fins swimsuits and merchandise, the deadline to order through our online team store (MI Sports) is May 13!

• Families are welcome to stop by the MI Sports location to try on suits for proper fitting: (4025 E Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80222) Note- they are closed Sundays!
• You may also visit other local swim stores in the area to try on suits. Our 2026 team suit style is the TYR Jammer (boys) and TYR Diamondfit 1-piece (girls).

Pool Cleanup Day: MAY 16

Let’s be good stewards of the pool and show our appreciation to the Forest Park neighborhood, by helping get the pool ship-shape and ready for summer!

Saturday, May 16, 10:00am

• We have specific Blue Fins jobs that we’ll help with - sign up for a job here! 2026 Pool Cleanup Signup
• Wear your Blue Fins gear to show off our team spirit. 
• Coffee and donuts will also be provided!

Practices Begin MAY 18!

Practices begin the week of May 18 (weather permitting!) Below is the schedule; please view the full 2026 Practice Schedule page for details and policies.

Afternoon Practices: May 18-21

• 6&Under: 4:00-4:45pm
• Age 7-10: 4:45-5:30pm
• Age 11-18: 5:30-6:30pm

May 26 - June 26 (Monday-Friday)

• 13 & Older: 7:00-7:55am
• 11 & 12: 7:55 - 8:50am
• 9 & 10: 8:50 - 9:30am
• 7 & 8: 9:30 - 10:10am
• 6 & Under: 10:10 - 10:45am

Guppies Practice: May 26 - June 25 

(Monday-Thursday; No practices on Fridays!)

• 10:15 - 10:45am
• NOTE: No Guppies practice on Wednesday, June 24 (due to swim team photos)

June 29 - July 1: TBD! We may have limited team practices on these mornings depending on coach availability (no Guppies)

Optional Evening Practices: MAY 26-27

For those who aren’t out of school yet when we start morning practices, we will hold two evening practices on May 26 and May 27. Sign up is required: May 26-27 Evening Practice Signup

May 26 and 27

• 6:00-6:45pm - Age 10 and Under
• 7:00-8:00pm - Age 11-18

Douglas County swimmers (or those with later school calendars) will receive first priority for these practices, but others may also attend if space allows!

Family Meet & Greet: TUESDAY, MAY 19, 6:30pm

Location: Forest Park Pool (weather permitting)
