Home Meet Info: Saturday, June 6 (Home Meet!)
Hello Blue Fins!
This Saturday, we are welcoming a new team to our pool, the Chaparral Sea Otters! They are newly formed and quite small, and I know we will provide them with very warm and friendly Blue Fins hospitality! Please help guide anyone who seems like they might need help :)
Now our HOME MEET details!!
Location:
- Home meet at the Forest Park pool! 7650 S. Fillmore Way, Centennial, 80122
- See attached map for a lay-of-the-land at our home meets. Both the main entrance and side entrance (near tennis courts) will be accessible.
Parking:
- Street parking only! Please do not park in the lot, as those spots are reserved for coaches, reps, and concessions.
- Please drive slowly in the neighborhood, do not block driveways, and watch for kids!
- **We have construction on our streets currently, but Saturday street parking should be fine. Please be careful as the top layer of some streets have been removed.**
Tent and Chairs Setup:
- Blue Fins can set up in the big grassy areas both west and south of the pool (see attached map).
- Friday night setup: Starting at 8:00pm on Friday, you may bring in your tents and chairs to "save a spot" for the next morning. Feel free to low-pop your tent, especially if weather overnight is looking favorable. Otherwise, you're welcome to bring everything with you Saturday morning.
- Please do not set up tents or chairs on the pool deck – we need to keep this space clear.
Schedule:
- 6:45-7:15 – Blue Fins Warm Up (6&Unders optional!)
- 7:15-7:45 – Chaparral Team Warm Up
- 7:20 – Scratch Meeting (green awning)

Concessions:
- You may use either Cash or Venmo at our Concession Stand.
- We will also have Kona Ice available at the meet, in the parking lot. 20% goes directly back to the Blue Fins!
Safety:
- We do not allow kids on the swingset during swim meets – it is not strong enough for that many children at once.
- No dogs allowed inside the pool premises.
- No chairs or tents on the pool deck.
