Hello Guppies families! I hope that your little ones are enjoying their time in the water this summer. It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end! 

Here are some reminders for you during this next week... 

Reminder: NO GUPPIES on Wednesday June 24

• Wednesday, June 24 is our team picture day, so we will not hold Guppies practice (or team practice).
• If you have an older sibling on the team, sibling pictures are allowed if you’d like your Guppy to be included.

Thursday, June 25 - Last Day of Guppies!!

• After practice we will celebrate your Guppies with a gift bag and popsicles. Way to go!

Saturday, June 27 - Guppies Race

• All our guppies are invited to participate in a real swim meet race at our last home meet on Saturday, June 27! Each Guppy will have a coach in the water with them, assisting them for one length of the pool.
• Guppies Race happens at our halfway point, after Event #45. This could be around 10/10:30am, but we’ll have a better idea of timing the day before (Friday).

Guppies Moving Up!

We’ve had so many Guppies move up and swim with the 6&Under group this year!! Way to go!! It’s incredibly exciting to see how they’ve grown and progressed. Please give your little ones a big high five from all of us!

• If your Guppy has moved up and is interested in participating in a real meet race (either June 20 or June 27), please let me know and I will remove their “non-competitive” status. You will then be able to sign them up for events (during signup you can request a coach in the water with them for support, which is completely OK!)
• The Guppies Race on June 27 does not require Guppies to be official competitive/team swimmers. All are welcome!

End-of-Year Party

• All Guppies and their families are welcome to join us at the Blue Fins End-of-Year-Party! We’ll have dinner, dessert, and swimming! All Guppies will be recognized and receive a gift.
